Bill Berry – Senior Pastor

Bill grew up in East End Arkansas, and graduated from Sheridan High School. He holds degrees from Liberty Theological Seminary, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is a graduate of Sovereign Grace Churches Pastors College. Prior to the planting of Sovereign Grace Church, Bill pastored churches in Arkansas and Texas. He also spent time as Chaplain in the US Army and Arkansas Army National Guard (whom he deployed to Iraq with). He and his wife Jennilee have been married for 12 years and have 6 children. Bill enjoys anything outdoors, the delta, and playing sports with their boys. When asked what three books outside of Scripture have been most impactful in his life he said: Amazing Grace by Timothy George, Gospel Wakefulness by Jared C. Wilson, The Works of BB Warfield.

Zach Taylor – Director of Music

Zach was born and raised in eastern Oklahoma. After he married Sarah, they were trying to seek God’s will for their lives. Already experiencing a calling to serve the local church through music, they sought out where they were to be trained. Early on, they looked into moving to Sydney, Australia to attend Hillsong College. After seeking the counsel of several respected individuals, the Taylors moved to Louisville, Kentucky instead so that they could attend Southern Seminary and Boyce College. While in Louisville, they were introduced to Sovereign Grace Churches. They fell in love with the local church and Sovereign Grace Churches as a whole. When Zach graduated from SBTS he applied for a few different worship leader positions around the country but none seemed to be a good fit. He and Sarah had already discussed that they wanted to graft as much of the culture from Sovereign Grace Church of Louisville as possible to whichever church God had for them. As one can imagine, they were very excited when they found out that there was a church plant being sent out to the part of the country in which they were both raised. After prayer and counsel, they made the decision to move to northwest Arkansas. When asked what books outside of Scripture have been most impactful in his life he said: Christ-Centered Worship by Bryan Chapell and Worship Matters by Bob Kauflin.

Tim Campbell – Director of Administration

Tim was born in South Carolina but grew up in Northern Illinois. The Campbell’s journey to NW Arkansas began in Louisville where they attended Sovereign Grace Church of Louisville. It was at that church where they began their marriage and got to know the church planting team. The Campbell’s knew within moments after meeting the team that they wanted to be in ministry together. Now they live in Rogers, Arkansas and are enjoying the beautiful state. Tim is married to Brittany and has one son and one daughter. When asked what books outside of Scripture have been most impactful in his life he said: Knowing God by J.I. Packer, Side by Side by Edward T. Welch, and the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S Lewis.

Matt Gray – Director of Hospitality

Matt was born and raised in Bryant, AR just south of Little Rock. In the summer of 2011, while working at a Christian camp in south Arkansas, he heard the gospel proclaimed one evening during a Bible study. He was deeply convicted of his sin before God and knew that he needed a savior; praise God for Jesus! Since putting his faith in Christ, the Lord has set him on a wonderful journey. Matt graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 2014 and married his wife Sara one week later. Together, they moved to Louisville, KY so that he could attend The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. It was here that Matt was introduced to Sovereign Grace Churches, Pastor Bill, Tim, and Zach. It wasn’t long after their arrival into Louisville that the idea of returning to Arkansas was presented to them and they are so thankful! When asked what books outside of Scripture have been most impactful in his life he said: A Quest for Godliness by J.I. Packer and Humility by C.J. Mahaney.
